It was a 'one-half' school day, and I got to just sit around the entire period. Three minutes into the period I realized I could be working on the song idea Katherine suggested at my request for new projects and ideas for songs. She asked me to write a song about her. And I did! In that one lonely, uneventful gym period.
Though it is completely different from the story of a sleepy bus ride (the original song I was writing about Katherine.). Also, this is not meant to sound mean.. it just... contradicts itself, I guess. It's also got a very.. familiar.. very upbeat tune to go with it, that I love. I also discovered shortly after writing it that I was able to sing it very well.
I don't necessarily get the contrasting opinion of Katherine in this song... but this is one of my favorite songs I've ever written! It is also WAY better than that bus one, I'll have you know.
The one thing I really wanted to say when I wrote this was the last two lines.
